CHEMICAL STRAIGHTENING

Your hair is comprised of keratin which contains sulphides. When sulphides bond together they create a disulphide bond, which makes the kink or curl in your hair. Chemical straightening works to break your hairs disulphide bond to reset the kinks or curls in your hair into a straighter alignment.

Our hairdressers use a solution similar to a perm in reverse to straighten the hair. You will need to care for your hair with a more intense conditioner to restore moisture to the hair after this treatment.
